Detective Constable Thomas Ravnsholdt, who goes by the name Raven, has been sent on sick leave from the City Police Station’s special unit, after his girlfriend Eva has been brutally murdered during a home robbery. Blaming himself for Eva’s death, Raven has sought refuge in his old houseboat in Christianhavn’s canal. Here he lives with his dog, Møffe – an ageing English bulldog with chronic stomach problems.
